I loved everything about Chicago, dining, shopping, sightseeing, and highly recommends to anyone who has not been to Chicago, to definitely take a trip.

Think about what you want to do before you arrive, plan for the number of days it will take to do what you want. Then add at least one more day, if not two. You'll find some things will take longer to enjoy, and will discover things along the way.

If you're ever in Chicago, you must see the pier. Must take that evening tour through the bay. The sun set is the most beautiful scene. Then don't forget the Sears Tower. Spend time walking downtown doing the site seeing is a long last memory.

You can walk to the science museum, free public zoo (which is amazing), park, botanical gardens, shopping, the lake...all from this hotel!
-
The Art Institute of Chicago is a must. Take the trolly tour ..well worth the price.
-
Its very cold and windy in the winter.

A weekend in Chicago is just a tease!

Take the train, or fly, or take a cab into town. The parking is insanely expensive and difficult to find a spot. The traffic can be a nightmare, and GPS systems will malfunction around all of the tall buildings, so bring backup directions if you insist on driving yourself!

Lots of Italian food but not much else available.

Everyone should take a walk on Michigan Ave. at their leisure
