Chicago Airport Hotels

Chicago is served by two major international airports, Midway International Airport and O'Hare International Airport. Both have several hotels nearby, and in the case of O'Hare, even have some within the airport. Most nearby hotels cater to business travelers, with state-of-the-art business centers and complimentary transportation to and from the hotel.

If you need to travel to the Loop, the city's downtown and business and financial center, consider a hotel in close proximity to an ‘L' train station. Unfortunately, both airports are considerably far from the city's urban core; Midway is eight miles away while O'Hare is 17.

O'Hare International Airport

Located northwest from the Loop, has been voted Best Airport in North America Business Traveler Magazine and Global Traveler Magazine. It is the second busiest airport in the nation and second busiest in the world. The Blue Line ‘L' train has an underground station at the airport, making it easy for travelers to get around the city.

Midway International Airport

Considered the city's secondary airport, it is by far closer to the Loop and is used by many low-cost carriers. Low fare airline Southwest is a principal carrier, taking up more than half of Midway's gates. The airport is also served by Orange Line, which takes you directly to downtown Chicago.
