Spanning two days, the Northalsted Market Days attracts both gays and straights from all over country to Chicago's gay district, located on Halsted from Belmont to Addison. What started out as a simple street fair in the 1970s has turned into a festival packed with revelers armed with water pistols, a staple at Market Days.
