Cadillac Palace

Cadillac Palace is located on the corner of Randolph and LaSalle Streets in downtown and has been around since 1926. In its early days, it hosted a lot of famous vaudeville acts. The majestic interiors reflect a French Palace feel. The gorgeous interiors are inspired by the palaces of Fontainebleau and Versailles. Tall ceilings, marble accents and French mirrors give the lobby space a very glamorous feel.

The Palace offers various entertainment options including music concerts and movies. Since 1950's, the theatre started booking Broadway shows and in the mid-1980's the venue was named the Bismark Theater and played host to rock concerts. The theater was refurbished and renamed Cadillac Palace in 1999, and now hosts Broadway shows. Check to see what is playing and watch an outstanding play at this spot.

After the show, go over to Catch 35 (312-346-3500), and choose from an extensive seafood menu, listen to live jazz and order drinks from the house bar or you can opt for some American-Continental cuisine at Nick's Fishmarket (312-621-0200).  Later, sip on some superb cocktails at the elegant House of Blues, known as a really trendy place with a chic vibe.

If you are planning to stay in the loop, book yourself for Hotel Allegro Chicago situated in the busy theatre district, where you will be treated as a super star.
