You can get familiar with a unique form of art called holography (laser art) at this Chicago museum.  The aim of this museum is to showcase laser as a form of modern art used for 3-D effect.

You can stroll through the museum and see the various works of holographic art on display. Watch a movie or sit in lectures on holography to learn more about this scientific art. Later, you may take part in Q&A sessions and learn how you can make your own hologram portrait.

After you are done at this museum, you may want to visit the nearby Chicago attractions such as Oriental Theatre, Union Station and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

When you feel like eating, go over to the nearby Inas (312-226-8227), known as a gem. This spot offers an American and Continental menu in cozy ambience. You can also enjoy French cuisine in a romantic and intimate setting at La Sardine (312-421-2800).

While you are in the neighborhood, check out Third Rail Tavern. This place has a state of the art audio and visual system and offers nice beverages and pub grub.

Later, step into the classy and popular Transit, where you will find a very nice crowd swinging away.
